This week’s Friday episode of the ABC daytime drama, “General Hospital” finds Sam again having to drop the news on Jason that Franco is actually the father of their baby as she learned the results of the paternity test. She really catches him off-guard when she again drops the bombshell after keeping it a secret like the time she kept Robin’s death from him. Sam and Jason are struggling with the new revelation.
Anna and McBain have a talk as Anna convinces him not to take his revenge out on Sonny. After contemplating that conversation, McBain has decided to give himself two months to take care of Sonny through the justice system and according to the rule of law.
Meanwhile, Sonny takes the time to assure Michael that Johnny is no longer a threat to him, yet the scene moves to Johnny and Starr shaking on a deal as they both hate Sonny and want to see him pay for the things he did to their families.
Epiphany pays Patrick a visit and lectures him on how shocked she is about the way he is living. She tells him he needs to stand up like the man Robin loved, stop wallowing in his grief, and take care of his little girl. Back at the hospital, Spinelli shares with Matt that he suspects that Patrick murdered Lisa, but later recants that opinion as the end of the episode nears.
Jason stares at the sonogram made of Franco’s baby. Sam has concerns that the baby may be evil like Franco. Jason tells Sam he wants to believe the baby is his but is adamant about the fact that he does not need her to protect him. The newest competition to hit Reality TV, “Fashion Star,” will debut Tuesday as it starts the search in the fashion world to find America’s best designer. Host and executive producer, Elle Macpherson, will kick off the series with celebs like Jessica Simpson, Nichole Richie, and John Varvatos. There will be 14 unidentified designers that will have an opportunity to win a multi-million dollar prize to launch their creations in some of the largest retailers in America, namely Macy’s, H&M and Saks Fifth Avenue.
Every show will begin with a fabulous fashion show accompanied with musical performances, dancers and models with a live studio audience. Like other reality shows, there will be challenges each week intended to further develop and expand the brands of the designers. The show will sport designer clothes for America to purchase with three of the top retailers of the world aiding in the decision-making process. The three judges will be Caprice Willard of Macy’s, Nicole Christie with H&M, and Terron Schaefer of Saks Firth Avenue. They will make split-second decisions as well as pitch for the right to purchase and promote the work of the upcoming designers exclusively in their stores.
At the end of each segment, viewers will have the opportunity to purchase the creations of the designers that were chosen to showcase that week. What America sees on TV that night will already be available in the stores as soon as the show airs, changing the lives and financial status of the upcoming designers with their future endeavors. Participants that do not sell any items to buyers will go up for elimination. A twist added to the show will allow Simpson, Richie, and Varvatos to save one of the designers from elimination.
